Adobe Asking For Credit Card when downloading trial version.
When I wanted to download Dreamweaver trial software from Adobe, they requested that I should log in to my account, so I logged in and tried to download the trial version of Dreamweaver. When I tried to download it, they requested me for my personal information and credit card or debit card. Did I miss something, why are they asking my for my personal information and a credit card to try out the software? So I was wondering what is going on, so I thought I was going to buy the software. So I cancelled it and tried again, and they’re asking me for my credit card. Then a pop-up chat showed up, and I wanted to know what was going on, so I chatted with them about why they need my personal information to try out a software. The person said that it is policy to get my personal in and credit card to try out the software, and within 30 days I have to cancel the order.
I replied that did not make any sense. The whole thing about trial software is to try the software out before buying it, and explain what trial means, and they replied to my say they understand and is their policy. The definition of trail software means any Server Software downloaded or otherwise received from Pervasive for a limited time period for the purposes. It is too bad the Adobe brought Dreamweaver out, it was doing better when it was a standalone company. So I went out to find an alternative to Dreamweaver, So I found Bluefish.
Adobe is getting worst every year. Most of Adobe software has better and some free alternatives.
